Reducing waste :

The most effective way to reduce waste is not to create it in the first place.

Better Recycling:

Paper and cardboard, plastic, industrial scrap metal, glass bottles are examples of materials that can be easily recycled. People need to take their time and save these products so that they can be recycled. To recycle something means that it will be transformed again into a raw material that can be shaped into a new item.

Reuse Program:

One person’s trash is another person’s treasure: Instead of discarding unwanted materials or waste products, try selling or donating them. Not only will you be reducing waste, but you’ll also be helping others.

Training & Awareness: Through our recycling tours we provide a bespoke training package that examines the potential impact in our community of environmental change due to man-made climate change.

These days nearly everything can be used, recycled, manipulated, and up-cycled. Having a positive program of recycling is a small thing that Green Tours Tanzania can do to help “save the planet”.

Green Tours Tanzania Project does its best to engage directly with the community, especially hard-hit areas which are in need of water supply, making chimneys for the rural communities that have the local houses, to help them in smoke emission that helps reduce eye sickness and breathing problems. Helping the less fortunate families by supporting kids with health insurance and further their studies, empowering the widows to be able to get small projects i.e farming groups and small businesses to enable them to sustain their lives. Not forgetting that we connect with youth groups in the communities that we take our tours to, directly by them helping us in garbage collection projects in the communities around them and indirectly by sending interested parties to vocational training institutes to empower them to be productive in their societies.

Giving back has always been an essential tenet of the Green Tours Tanzania vision and we continuously strive to ensure our tours have a positive impact on the environment and local communities through which we travel. We are grateful to our amazing clients who have supported our environmental and community projects either indirectly by simply booking with us or by directly being involved in projects we do.
